Jack M. Wharton

An effective attorney because of his experience and tenacity, Jack Wharton specializes in civil litigation including professional liability, aviation and insurance law. Jack says that it has been both a professional and personal pleasure and blessing to have been a part of the growth of our firm from two lawyers to the fourteen we have today.

Throughout the years, Peddicord Wharton strove to hire both attorneys and staff members who reflect the ideals of integrity, morality, intellect and a Midwestern work ethic. Having been with the firm since 1973, Jack has been involved in the selection of all but one of its attorneys and has been privileged, over the years, to watch them mature and grow into extremely competent lawyers and productive members of the community. Yes, these attorneys all devote great effort and diligence to the practice of their profession and in service to the wonderful clients they serve but when the work is done, they also take time to develop and sustain a unique friendship among them which, he believes, sets this firm apart from our colleagues elsewhere.

On a Personal Note

Jack and his wife, Pam, have two grown daughters and two granddaughters who bring much joy and pleasure to their lives. Aviation is a hobby he enjoys.
